About Us
Cudgegong Valley Physical Culture has proudly been in operation for over 40 years. Physie, short for Physical Culture, offers a fantastic mix of movements aimed at enhancing strength, fitness, and flexibility. Through Physie, our members benefit from improved coordination, brain development, and boosted confidence.
We follow the BJP code of Physical Culture and dance at the Mudgee High School Gymnasium (entrance from Denison Street).
Physie is a synchronized, team-oriented sport that is both social and enjoyable, providing an excellent low-impact dance and aerobic workout.
From ages 3 to 103, Physie is a lifelong sport. Our club accommodate all ages and skill levels, making it an experience you can enjoy throughout your life. We are an inclusive dance school for everyone.
Generations of Australian women have valued the friendships and strong connections that Physie fosters. More than just a sport, Physie is a welcoming community of fun, healthy, and active families.
With lively pop music as its backdrop, Physie blends various dance styles, including jazz ballet, hip hop, contemporary, aerobic dance, and even yoga! Our creative choreography is updated annually for maximum variety and enjoyment.

Kellie
Kellie's journey in physie began at just 5 years old when she was a super shy girl, her passion for the sport blossomed rapidly!

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Kellie has achieved remarkable success in helping her students excel in competitions.
Excitingly, in 2026, she will continue mentoring all teachers and co-teaching the dynamic 'Ladies' class for 17-70+ year olds!

Zara
Zara kicked off her amazing journey in Physie at the age of 10 with BJP in Mudgee, and wow, what a journey it has been!
Competing both individually and as part of a team, she earned impressive accolades both arenas.
Zara will be co-teaching juniors and teens in 2026 – it’s going to be an exciting time!

Justine
Justine embodies a true passion for all things Physie.
Having excelled in both Team and Individual competitions at National level, she brings an impressive wealth of experience and vibrant enthusiasm to our members.
In 2026, Justine will confidently co-teaching all juniors and teens in 2026.
