Exciting News: Glencore Backs Our Home-Grown Junior Sports Event in 2026

ree

Cudgegong Valley Physical Culture is thrilled to announce that our club has been awarded a grant from the Glencore Junior Sports Development Program. This support means that in August 2026, we’ll proudly host a two-day Interclub Competition right here in Mudgee—opening doors for up to 350 junior competitors, families, and supporters from across NSW.

Thanks to Glencore’s generous backing, we can remove major barriers for local juniors. Instead of traveling long distances to participate, our members will enjoy an inspiring event close to home, building confidence, team spirit, and lasting connections within our community.

This funding will help us recognise achievement with beautiful medals and lanyards, cater for judges and volunteers, and run fundraising activities to support our dream of a permanent home for the growing sport of physical culture in the region.

We’re grateful to Glencore for investing in youth sport and local opportunities, and we can’t wait to see our juniors shine in 2026. The countdown to Interclub begins!

Stay tuned for updates as we prepare for this milestone event—thank you for being part of our journey.
